THE ARNOLD A. SCHWARTZ FOUNDATION AT A GLANCE
The Arnold A. Schwartz Foundation is a non-profit organization that disburses grants on an annual basis to non-profit, non-sectarian organizations which principally serve people in the area of central New Jersey surrounding Plainfield and Dunellen and are primarily located in Union, Somerset, Middlesex, Hunterdon, Morris, and Essex counties.
The Foundation accepts requests for assistance from April 1 through August 30 each year. Grants are disbursed and notification to grant recipients will be made in November.
WAYS WE HELP
The Foundation supports a wide range of charitable organizations including those that provide shelter and food to individuals and families in need, assistance to the elderly, assistance and education to children and adults with special needs, support to education and the arts, conservation and other worthy causes.
